CLIENT OVERVIEW:
BatteriesInAFlash.com is a web store that was spawned in 2004 from our eBay store, Battery Wholesale Distributors which is one of the longest running and top battery stores found on eBay. They are a retailer and wholesale distributor of batteries, chargers, and accessories located in North Las Vegas, NV. They service a variety of customers from end users buying retail to retail resellers to commercial accounts for internal use.
UNIQUE NEEDS:
- Need to develop a Magento 1 extension. The extension will have to follow proper Magento MVC structure. It must follow the proper Magento installation method so any Magento site can install it should It need to. It cannot overwrite any core Magento files so that Magento is easily updateable.
- This is a part finder but does not traditionally work the same way as the current ones being sold. The client needs the results pulled directly from the database and shown on the site.
- This is replacing the same module they have developed for another platform before they switched to Magento.
RESOLUTION:
Creosen team customized the Part Finder extension code in a demo version of Magento 1.9 website and sent the demo version to the client for review. Upon client’s approval, our team has moved the changes to the live website.
